The CTU Institute for Advanced Studies' Master of Science in Computer Science (MSCS) degree program with a concentration in Computer Systems Security is designed to provide students with an understanding of operating systems and networking as well as knowledge of computer system architecture and the software system engineering process. This degree program presents an overview of computer systems security, together with the specialized knowledge required to develop a security policy, formulate an implementation plan, design and implement security measures, and monitor and manage computer systems security. The MSCS-CSS is taught in an executive format, combining online instruction with five intensive residential sessions at the CTU Colorado Springs campus, and includes four professional certificates that can be earned with no additional courses or tuition costs.
